Allora Lodge's 11th birthday this year was a wonderful chance for our residents and staff to celebrate what they love about being here - particularly the special sense of welcome everyone feels the minute they walk in the door.

The dcor is inviting and homely, but our ambience isn't painted on the walls. It's in the smiles you encounter from fellow residents, staff and visiting families, their offers of help and the comfortable conversations which are part of the rewarding tapestry of everyday life at Allora Lodge.

There are ample additions to the pleasure of daily routine too. Our coach takes residents on regular excursions into the picturesque hinterland and along the coast. Recent day trips include picnics beside the Maroochy River and visits to Caloundra and Maleny.

Stimulating social events come to us as well. Allora has entertainers almost every week, from choirs and brass bands to recent visits from the police bagpipe band and a senior citizen line dancing group.

Allora Lodge residents will also soon benefit from an exciting new canal development underway in Maroochydore which will bring the ocean almost to our doorstep. When completed, our residents and visitors will have access to lovely walks through parkland and along waterways.
