Regis Anchorage House - Salisbury
279 Lillian Avenue
Salisbury Queensland 4107
The subtle things are what make
living at Regis Anchorage House so special. Like sharing common
interests with friends and fellow residents, enjoying a chat with
staff and simply appreciating the camaraderie of being part of a
close and caring community.
These everyday things contribute to
Anchorage House's inviting atmosphere. Our residents love living
here and it shows. Many came on the recommendation of family
members who lived here. It's also why so many people want to live
here, whether they are local to Salisbury or from farther
afield.
Our suburban location just south of
central Brisbane adds a great deal to the pleasant dynamic of
Anchorage House.
Residents have regular
opportunities to enjoy activities and events provided by visiting
practitioners and performers, plus a swag of excursions to
stimulating places. Three calendars incorporate something to suit
every resident's interest and capacity.
A recent trip for dinner at the
local club saw everyone have a wonderful time doing everyday,
enjoyable things. Residents often use the local taxi service to
take themselves shopping.
Often it's the antics of our own
staff that provide the biggest buzz. Like the two who dress in
costume every fortnight and hand out ice-creams. Whether they're
clowns, fairies, leprechauns or Easter bunnies, they always get
great laughs.
Our low care section located at the
front of the facility is about seven years old and imbued with a
comfortable ambience that settles in people the minute they walk
through the door.
Anchorage House features a large
number of double rooms in our high care section. Residents who
share here enjoy the experience of creating new friendships. And we
enjoy putting like-minded people together and seeing relationships
grow.
Socialising is integral to quality
of life at Anchorage House. Residents sit at shared tables for
meals, and the animated conversations during these times is always
a pleasure to hear. Of course, visiting family members are welcomed
into the fold too.
Our long-term management team and
staff contribute to the closeness of the Anchorage House community.
As a result, staff and residents interact just like close
friends.
Anchorage House residents are also
able to take advantage of the following services on offer:
- regular church service
