For everything else, the world comes to us. The Victoria Police Band visits several times a year and we kick up our heels to the Broadway tunes sung by a local variety ensemble.

Many other welcome reminiscences include annual cultural occasions like ANZAC Day, Easter and Christmas, plus a long list of exuberant birthday parties. We embrace any excuse to get together, sing and celebrate!

Students of Rosebud Primary School captivate with their carol singing every year and a new connection with Xavier College is proving equally rewarding. The boys came for the first time this year and made a wonderful impression. Receptive and enthusiastic, they chatted, played bingo, pool and generally immersed themselves in the world of The Grange. We're all looking forward to seeing them again next year, and for many years to come.

We are proud to have our own resident busker too. A well-known figure in Rosebud, he has brightened the days of local shoppers for decades. Now he's brightening ours with impromptu shows in the lounge.

In fact, most The Grange residents are well known in the local community because we're so often out there on bus trips. Excursions to Sorrento beach are actually a component of our physio program, with residents stepping out on accompanied beach walks.

Our home is a thoroughly dynamic place, with plenty of family members coming and going. This is especially the case within our dementia unit, where families often mix and mingle.

The everyday bustle of the Grange is balanced by so many contemplative spaces to sit and unwind, like our beautiful gardens. Shaded by large trees, this tranquil oasis is popular year-round. Ideal for barbecues in summer and always a fragrant haven thanks to the soft scents of our specially-designed sensory garden.

Thanks to our 'aging in place' program, all residents can to settle in, knowing they won't have to move again when their independence lessens. At The Grange, our people receive all the dedicated care they need in the comfort of their own home.
