Boost

Regis offers the Boost program to equip new Enrolled Nurses and Registered Nurses with the skills to support their role in aged care. The three-day intensive program covers a wide range of topics, including quality systems, clinical documentation, risk assessment, family engagement, clinical assessment, dementia care, wound management, palliative care, leadership skills, and more. Boost participants gain valuable knowledge and skills and have the opportunity to build relationships with peers while expanding their professional network.

Advance

Regis’ Advance program is a valuable opportunity for high-performing Registered Nurses (RNs) to gain the knowledge and skills needed to step up to higher level clinical leadership roles, support their Homes by backfilling Clinical Care Manager (CCM) leave, and gain a better understanding of the overall governance of clinical care. The program is also beneficial for Clinical Care Managers, Clinical Team Leaders (CTL), and Clinical Team Coordinators (CTC) who are new to Regis.

OWL

Regis offers the OWL program for Assistants in Nursing (AIN) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) who want to mentor and coach new AINs/PCAs. The program provides comprehensive onboarding, welcoming, and learning initiatives, including training and development opportunities. Participants work closely with new AINs/PCAs, building a supportive community of like-minded individuals passionate about caring for others.

Student Placement Program

At Regis, we recognise the importance of having the right people in the right roles at the right time. In 2022, we accepted 1317 students nationally into our Student Placement Program, providing them with valuable experience and knowledge to support their future careers in aged care. We are proud to have 59 national preferred providers for the provision of student placements, ensuring that our program reaches a broad range of talented individuals across the country.

Work Experience Program

Regis is proud to offer our Work Experience Program, which provides students with the opportunity to learn about ‘The Regis Way’ at one of our Homes/sites through a short-term placement.

Our program is designed for secondary school students in years 10-12, as well as adults and secondary school students enrolled in a Certificate II Aged Care relative VET course. Please note that placements are only available in the Leisure and Lifestyle, Office Administration, and Catering areas of our business.

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to gain practical skills and knowledge in a supportive and welcoming environment, all while exploring potential career paths in the aged care sector.
