Regis Day Therapy Centres provide professional allied health services, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and podiatry, to people living in the community, retirement villages and low care residential facilities. Regis Day Therapy Centres also offer a range of stimulating activities and classes designed to improve each individual's well-being, enhance memory skills, form friendships and encourage independent living. Following an initial assessment of each person's needs, in conjunction with the individual and their health professional, an appropriate treatment plan is drawn up, which includes therapy services, ongoing support and/or education. All services are provided by our fully trained, experienced and professional staff. Our centre-based therapy activities provide individuals the opportunity to engage in programs that will enhance their physical and emotional well-being. This includes programs which help improve strength, balance and coordination as well as programs that improve memory skills and enhance independent living. Rehabilitation Services Rehabilitation services are offered for people with health problems such as arthritis, post operative orthopaedic conditions, eg: hip replacements and neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinsons Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and memory loss. They may also be accessed by those with a chronic illness, who are recovering from an operation and other illnesses. Podiatry Services Podiatry services are available for people with medical conditions such as diabetes, vision impairment, peripheral neuropathy or peripheral vascular disease. Day Therapy is primarily funded by the Federal Government but you will also be required to contribute a small fee for each service. Please contact our Day Therapy Manager at the facility which suits you best to discuss your individual needs.
