Regis Embleton aged care facility recently started an art project with residents, volunteers and community members creating a unique art installation with an animals of flight theme.
The art project was an initiative of Regis Embleton’s ‘Men Shed’ and ‘Arts n Craft’ group members working together with staff and local Bunnings store in Morley to create a vibrant art display.
Bunnings generously offered materials and a ‘How-to’ ’workshop to enthusiastic Regis residents. The mediums used to create the display included bold tints of paint, wood, feathers and a variety of other miscellaneous items. The end result of this lifestyle activity is beautiful and final exhibit showcases the creativity and skill of the combined efforts of our aged care residents.
A special shout out to Neville, Don, George, Marley and Joan for their contributions to design and creation.
