Regis Brighton – COVID-19 update


Families,

Sonic Healthcare has arrived on site today for what should be the final round of testing. These results will come back in the next day or so. Morale at Regis Brighton is good today and our one on one lifestyle activities continue. We encourage you to utilise our alternative connection opportunities to reach out to your loved ones via FaceTime, video call and phone calls as connection is now more important than ever.

Our clinical team has completed their daily assessment of all residents to check their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing using the Department of Health and Human Services screening tool. We will continue to do this every day and as always, will update your if the clinical status of your loved one changes.

We will continue to update you each day as the situation progresses. I encourage you to call our dedicated team on 1300 998 100 who can transfer you to a senior staff member to answer any and all questions you may have and provide reassurance.

We know it is hard to be away from your loved ones. The Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN) has a range of resources available to support you and our residents. I encourage you to visit the Older Person’s Advocacy Network (OPAN) website and read the OPAN flyer (PDF). I hope you find them useful.
