Regis Brighton – COVID-19 update

Dear Families,

I would like to thank you for your patience while we wait for an update from the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). We hope that we will transition into Enhanced Surveillance shortly.

While we wait for guidance from the DHHS, we remain focused on the physical, emotional and mental health and wellbeing of our residents.

Morale in the Home remains positive. Lifestyle activities are underway and our clinical team has completed their round of daily assessments on all residents. As always, we will be in touch if there are any clinical changes to your loved one.

Our staff will of course continue to wear full Personal Protective Equipment when engaging with all residents and at all times in the Home. I would like to acknowledge their efforts and dedication during this time and share how appreciated they are.

We understand this is an uncertain time while we wait for the next steps. I encourage you to visit the Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN) website and read the OPAN Flyer (PDF). OPAN has a range of resources available to support you and your loved ones. They are available via phone on 1800 237 981 to discuss concerns, queries or to support you and your loved ones.

We hope to share positive news with you shortly. In the meantime, I encourage you to call our dedicated team who are available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. All you need to do is call Regis Advice on 1300 998 100 to be transferred through to a senior member of our team who are on standby to support you.

Take care.

Best wishes,

Linda Mellors
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer
