COVID-19 Update – Regis Cranbourne Day 9


Families,

As mentioned yesterday, I am pleased that all tests from the second round of COVID-19 tests, taken on Saturday, have been returned negative. We expect another round of testing to be completed in a day or so and are waiting on the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to advise us this will occur. We will update you once we know.

Staffing at Regis Cranbourne remains stable today, as it has throughout, and we continue to provide quality care and services to all of our residents. Our clinical team has completed their round of daily assessments on all residents using the screening tool from the Department of Health and Human Services. We will be in touch if the clinical status of your loved one changes.

Morale is good and our one on one lifestyle activities continue. Residents thoroughly enjoyed the virtual tour yesterday. Based on resident feedback, the team have coordinated another virtual garden tour today with residents virtually visiting the Isle of Scotland and the Carlton Gardens.

We encourage you to utilise our alternative connection opportunities to reach out to your loved ones via FaceTime, video call and phone calls as connection is now more important than ever. Our team is available to support with this.
