Please be reassured that morale remains positive at Regis Dandenong North. While our residents remain in their rooms, Lifestyle activities centre on FaceTime and phone calls with loved ones. Additional devices have been sent through to the Home to ensure everyone can connect.
We are yet to receive the result of the staff member who was in close contact with the confirmed COVID‑19 case. This result is expected either today or tomorrow and if it is negative, the outbreak will be stood down and life will return to normal in our Home. While we wait, the physical and mental well being of our community is our focus.
Our clinical team has assessed all residents with the screening tool from the DHHS. This ensures all residents are supported, both physically and mentally. As always, we will update you if the clinical status of your loved one changes. We continue to follow our Outbreak Management Plan and staff will wear full Personal Protective Equipment.
