I am writing to you to let you know of some updates and adjustments to our current Home Care and CHSP services at Regis. We are constantly reviewing and closely following the advice and guidance from the Public Health Authorities in each state or Territory as we all adjust to the easing of restrictions around the country.
Planning is underway to resume face to face activities for Home Care and CHSP including the development of a COVID Safe Plan to ensure the risks to you and our staff are minimised.
The Department of Health has advised that face to face social support activities may resume for CHSP provided appropriate safe guards are in place including:
I will write again to let you know as soon as we have a date for return to these services and to provide an update on our plans for your safety and wellbeing.
The Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission (the Commission) is continuing to monitor the quality of care and services provided to Home Care and CHSP clients.
We have been advised that Regis’ Home Care clients in Tasmania have been selected to participate in a voluntary survey undertaken by the Commission. Commission officers will be telephoning around 5,000 home services clients or their nominated representatives from a number of providers.
The survey will take place throughout June and July 2020 and aims to understand your experience of Home Care or CHSP with respect to the Aged Care Quality Standards, User Rights Principles and the effect of COVID-19 on your care and services.
