A random act of floral kindness in the month of February.

The Random Act of Kindness Day observed in February each year is a day celebrated to encourage individuals, groups, organisations and much more to show the act of kindness. Although, this is a day formally celebrated one day of the year, doing random acts of kindness is something that can be done every day all year through.

Residents at Regis Greenmount aged care facility were over the moon when they each received a long stem rose from a local flower exporter – WAFEX on the 14th February. WAFEX donated 90 long stemmed roses to all the residents at Regis Greenmount. This act was to show and support the idea of expressing random acts of kindness through giving, encouraging the idea that flowers don’t just have to be for special occasions, as well as encouraging employees to personally experience the happiness that comes through giving flowers.
Everyone who witnessed this act of kindness expressed joy at the happiness and joy that lit the faces of residents on that day.
