Regis’ aged care facilities across Australia celebrated our dedicated volunteers recently with facilities hosting ‘Thank You’ events for volunteers, spiritual visitors, RSL and Legacy representatives, entertainers, Delta Dog visitors and individuals part of the Community Visitors Scheme.
Regis was more then happy to show a little extra appreciation to the caring and dedicated 800 plus volunteers and other visitors who give up their time on a regular basis to bring joy, skills and knowledge to our aged care homes.
National Volunteer Coordinator Kim comments, “They make an extraordinary contribution to our residents by sharing skills, talents and knowledge or simply by listening. They make residents feel valued, included and informed of community developments enriching lives on a daily basis.”
The various volunteer ‘Thank You’ events across the country were designed to give back in a small way to these individuals who have given so much. All volunteers received thank you gifts and Certificates of Appreciation for their contributions.
We can’t thank our Regis volunteers enough! Our facilities wouldn’t be the same without their invaluable contribution.
