We continue to assist the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) with their investigations and contact tracing. This follows an Allied Health worker, who attended residents at Regis Shenley on 17 August and subsequently tested positive for COVID-19.
We are pleased to advise that the staff member who was a close contact has returned a negative COVID-19 test result. All our residents have also returned negative COVID-19 results. Most staff have returned negative results but there are still a number of staff results pending and we expect them to be returned tomorrow. We will advise when they are available.
Regis Shenley will stay in lock down and will continue to operate under our Outbreak Management Plan to protect our residents. This means that all residents will remain in their rooms and all staff will be in Full Personal Protective Equipment. We are working closely with DHHS and will continue to follow their advice, particularly regarding the testing regime.
The clinical team has completed the daily screening of residents using the DHHS assessment tool. They will be in touch, as always, if the status of your loved one changes. Lifestyle activities are continuing with a one on one program from our dedicated Lifestyle team.

We will provide an update via email every day with the latest news and advice. Residents will also receive daily printed updates until the outbreak is declared over by DHHS.
