We would like to acknowledge and wholeheartedly congratulate 12 team members on their perseverance and commitment to achieving Certificate III Commercial Cookery Apprenticeship in QLD. The Food Services Assistants were invited to apply and commenced their hands on theoretical training with Careers Australia in July 2015. Each month on a Friday, the participants met for sessions in the Australian Trade College Kitchen in Scarborough.
Enjoying their experience, they were not deterred by a number of challenges including a change in teaching staff; a major Queensland flooding in March; not even the total collapse of Careers Australia in May this year could get in their way of achieving this goal.
Regis is proud of their achievements, with the qualification highly regarded in the catering industry. All 12 team members are continuing to work in Regis kitchens in Queensland.
The recent graduates were delighted to celebrate at the graduation ceremony held at Regis Sandgate facility and the following graduates were acknowledged.
