The Gap, QLD

I would like to acknowledge the exceptionally outstanding Nursing and Administration staff caring for my mother at Regis, The Gap, Queensland.
I have been dealing with aged care facilities for the last few years, and in comparison, The Gap Regis stands out as exemplary in terms of their compassion, care, and professionalism – treating people as people rather than just a business.

Going into an aged care facility is a very difficult time for the aged who have lost almost everything they valued in life- lost capacities and purpose. The staff at the aged care are their families and best friends, as such, the staff makes a huge difference in their lives.

On every occasion, I have visited my mother, she speaks of the nursing staff with great love. My experience with the administration and nursing staff has been equally wonderful.

Home Hill, QLD

I come here to visit a friend every Tuesday morning. We can all be very thankful for such a wonderful facility. The friendliness and welcoming nature of all the staff is very pleasing, a very happy and jovial atmosphere. The cleanliness and brightness is amazing, a credit to all concerned. You are all obviously very caring people. Thank you.

Regis Wynnum, QLD

The last twelve months or so has been an unprecedented time for our family – something that life does not always prepare one for. We have been saddened, emotionally challenged, had many demands on our time, and had to learn how to navigate a whole new world. We cannot thank you and all the staff enough for helping us through this time. Your patience, guidance, advice, and most importantly, genuine care for our family has been a blessed presence in our lives.

Regis Frankston, VIC

I would like to take this opportunity to thank and acknowledge all the staff at Regis Frankston who are doing an amazing job looking after my mother Antoinette. She has been in your care for three years now and I am so thankful to all the caring staff who have gone above and beyond in their duties to keep her and every resident there safe, especially in these trying times.

Regis Salisbury, QLD

Could you please pass on a big thank you to you and all the caring staff who work at Regis.
Mum called me today to tell me that she’s had her hair cut, played bingo and had breakfast and lunch with her new friends. She also told me that she’s very happy where she is and she sounded it.
To be able to relax now that I know that mum is being taken care of has taken a huge burden off my shoulders and to know that she’s in a fabulous facility that she loves makes me happy.
Thank you to you all!

Regis Home Care

Two years ago I was starting to face a dilemma with my sister-in-law being over 70 years of age, not driving anymore, having some health issues and living by herself. Barbara was becoming more and more dependent on my help with all the activities of daily living.

Last year in August I have decided to contact Regis Home Care (myself working for Regis also) and start the process of organising the Home Care Package for my sister-in-law and that was the best decision I have made.

From the start, Regis Home Care staff was very helpful, dedicated and supportive – informing me that it will take about 12 months before the Home Care help will be possible, and to my surprise 8 months later the agreement was signed between my sister-in-law and Regis Home Care.

I just want to say a big thank you to Regis and Regis Home Care staff – especially Rebecca Brown – for the professional and ongoing support, as well as for giving me the peace of mind from now on knowing that my sister-in-law will be well looked after.

Ferny Grove, QLD

My 90-year old brother is in your care at Ferny Grove. I would strongly urge you to maintain existing restrictions. I can see no logic in the advice to allow relatives to visit the most vulnerable people in the community.

Keep up the good work.

Wynnum, QLD

I am fully supportive of the actions that Regis has taken from the beginning to protect the most vulnerable people in our society. In light of the outbreaks in NSW, I would support the continuation of the current approach until we are far more confident that no clients will be affected.

I appreciate that there is pressure to relax the current approach and thank the staff at Regis for their dedication during this difficult time.

Regis Chelmer, QLD

It is reassuring to our family, especially during this World Health Crisis and having no personal contact, that our loved ones are in good care. It is also reassuring to hear from our loved ones that they are happy and surrounded by lovely, caring staff throughout Regis. Olive also calls beautiful Chelmer Regis her home. Thank you again.

Karen and Gail

Regis Chelmer, QLD

Our family is blessed that our mother, Bernadette, is safe in your hands during this difficult time.

My special and heartfelt thanks to you and your wonderful team of carers for your warmth, compassion and kindness to the residents in your care. I look forward to a time when we can all meet again.

Regis Belmore, NSW

I would like to recommend Regis Aged Care to everyone. The management is absolutely professional and very helpful. In all areas, I saw the difference immediately when I moved my mother from another home. Especially Julie, Laura, Rendju and Lauren. In addition, the nurses are well trained and extremely efficient and let me know if anything is wrong. I would highly recommend Regis to anyone wishing to place a loved one. They go above and beyond with customer service.

Regis Sippy Downs, QLD

My wife has been a resident in Regis Sippy Downs for some six years. During this time I have found the facility and the care and attentiveness of your staff to be of a very high order of professional and personal standards. I have found that my interactions with your staff have been and continues to be genuinely friendly, professional and good-nature. As well, I have observed my wife to brighten and smile in their presence. The emotional care of my wife is first-class and the carers involved deserve much credit. I usually visit my wife, as is my practice twice daily, for lunch and dinner and at other times. I also observe that the meals served to the more able residents of a comparable standard and quality. I consider that the Regis staff responsible for food preparation and presentation, and in particular the chef, deserve much praise and my personal thanks for their catering.

Regis Maroochydore, QLD

For the past four years, Regis has cared for my mother. I wish to thank all the staff for the wonderful care, time and well being shown to mum. The staff have always provided the best in care and positive feedback to me and my family
The staff have made my father who passed away recently feel welcome, wanted and appreciated at all times when visiting my mother. Friendly conversations and time to talk also made his day.
It is not an easy task caring for persons with a variety of ailments and fragilities, but what I have seen and been present for, your staff under your management are a credit to your organisations guidance and Management. They are extremely professional and an asset to Regis.
I wish to thank you in continuing the role in providing the best care available to my mother.

Kind Regards

Regis Maroochydore, QLD

I just wanted to let you know that the staff at Regis have been super helpful in dealing with My Mum’s surgery.I have appreciated the staff’s care during the preparation for the operation followed by several visits and daily care.
Things have improved since the surgery and I want to thank the staff for the improvement.

Thank you again for your assistance.

Regis Sandgate Musgrave, QLD

On behalf of myself and my family, I will like to convey our heartfelt “Thank you” for making E’s stay at Regis very comfortable.
The care, compassion, professional manner and general friendliness of all the staff were noticed. Everyone made the transition to care as smooth as possible making him call Regis home.
We are also grateful for making his last days comfortable and always keeping us informed.
He was a special human being always smiling and friendly and I know he will be missed not only by us but also the Regis Family that grew to love him too.
Thank you

Regis Maroochydore, QLD

I love living here. Staff are fantastic and very helpful. I’m so happy I made the decision to come live here. I have been to  other place and they are not as nice as here. There are always activities, walking, outings, walking, outings, exercises, games and things to do. The staff are beautiful people and I would not want to be anywhere else. Best decision I have ever made

Regis Kuluin, QLD

We want to say thank you for the relief we now have because of the gentle care you show to my father-in-law Keith Gordon. Everyone at Regis Kuluin have helped us traverse this hard journey we have had to travel. We always hoped we would be able to keep dad at home with us but now he gets delirium it is no longer safe for him.

In the beginning, we had Simon who’s knowledge and patience with all the paperwork necessary to get dad into Regis. All the way from Emma with his needs and Will who kees  him mobile- everyone is amazing. His medication is taken care of. His room and clothes are well cared for. He now has help in the shower. He enjoys the food and his cups of coffee with a snack 😄😄

We are very happy to recommend Regis Kuluin to anyone who asks. PS We have told several families looking through your facility how happy we are. Again a big thank you.
Rob and Anna

Regis Kuluin, QLD

Since the moment my mum moved into Regis Kuluin, we knew she was in the right place. It was a comfortable and smooth transition, with the whole team offering support and guidance to both myself and mum from start to finish. The facilities are amazing and the staff are friendly and approachable, which is beneficial for everyone! From daily activities to tasty food to homely (and beautiful, leafy green) surrounds, it is a lovely place for all. We are so glad that we chose Regis Kuluin, and highly recommend it to anyone who is considering a care facility in Kuluin.

Regis Sandgate-Musgrave,QLD

I would like to thank the staff at Musgrave for the care my mother received.

I cannot put into words the thanks that I feel towards the staff for the care that they provided my mother for the time that she was with you. This helped mum to feel safe and secure and I am eternally grateful. I wish I could send feeling and not just words then you may know how grateful I am for the care that was provided.
Every opportunity I get I tell people the wonderful place that Regis Musgrave is and the staff are the ones that make it that way. A building is just a building, what makes it a home is the people within that building.

Regis Kirwan, QLD

I would like to share with Regis that it is an absolute pleasure dealing with the Selina, Customer Service Coordinator at Regis Kirwan. Selina is an exceptional employee for a multitude of reasons, including:

In all her interactions with residents, family members and staff, Selina unfailingly balances being warm, friendly and professional. Selina’s Knowledge and expertise vis-à-vis your organisation and the aged care sector generally is remarkable and has been invaluable to my husband and I in organising appropriate residential care and support for my Mother-in-law.
Selina is always extremely generous with her time, impressively attentive, incredibly helpful; (and patient and flexible) and super efficient. Selina has single-handedly ensured that our experience with Regis has been as stress free, easy and seamless as possible.

Before meeting Selina, our encounters with other residential aged care facilities had left us daunted by the prospect of securing a place for my Mother-in-law.
But with Selina’s help and support we have had a delightful experience. And this experience is ongoing not only for us, but also for my Mother-in-law: she loves her new home!
We cannot commend Selina highly enough. Selina is a beautiful human being; she personifies goodness.

Regis Whitfield, QLD

We would personally like to thank you and all Regis Whitfield staff for all the hard work you put in daily. Having to deal with the public on a daily basis. It’s very quick for people to criticise but not as quick for them to compliment. Living an hour away from mum, I always worry about her and many times the guilt of having her so far away is overwhelming however I know that she is the best care and in the best facility possible. Keep up the great work, it is by far the best facility in this area and we should know, we checked them all out carefully with mum before she decided to join the Regis community.

Tony and Maf

Regis Wynnum, QLD

We would like to thank you all for the care dad received while a resident there. We would also like to mention how very welcomed we were made to feel when visiting Dad.
Everyone was so kind and it mostly made a difference to his life. Dad did feel it was his home. Your kindness will always be remembered.
Thanking you

Regis Fawkner, VIC

I initially had concerns for my partner moving to a dementia specific unit at Regis Fawkner as I thought he wouldn’t be given enough stimulation. However over time he regained confidence and had less falls which was due to the specific care and attention he received from all the staff who were continuously creative in sourcing different activities for him and other residents to enjoy. He loved sport and staff made sure he joined any ball games. He was invited and happily enjoyed in all activities and outings which were many and varied.
I visited most days and was able to see that my partner (and all other residents) were treated with utmost respect and care.
It was a joy to visit Regis Fawkner.
Thank you

Regis Ferny Grove, QLD

I am writing in relation to my mother who was a resident at your Ferny Grove (Qld) site. Mum passed after a long history of Dementia and whilst the feelings of sorrow will persist for some time, these feelings were tempered by the level of care and support Mum received from the staff during her stay.
I could provide countless examples of positive experiences, and equally, so list every staff member that we shared experiences with (they were all great). The level of assistance and care that staff provided (particularly those of us who stayed at the facility in the last week) was very much appreciated.
We were looked after ensuring that we never went hungry or without a place to rest or sleep.

Regis Home Care Eastern Metro, VIC

Now that I’m getting my life back, I want to take this opportunity of thanking you for your support, guidance and advice whilst Mum was under Regis Home Care. Your guidance and advice was invaluable and I really appreciated it. Your honest feedback and work ethic was admirable, even if was just a short time.
Thank you once again for your help and I wish you well in your future endeavours.

Regis Blackburn, VIC

To all staff at Regis Aged Care, Blackburn, Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers that you sent us on the loss of our mother. Thank you for your care of mum while she was with you and also for your support to us, the family, while she became palliative. We appreciate it very much.
Kind Regards,

Re: Regis Dandenong North Delights Night Market

Dear Regis Dandenong North,
It was such a great idea of you to do the twilight festival. I love that whatever was there can be for people of any age. It is great that you care for farmers with drought. I’m sure that the farmers will appreciate what you are doing for them.
My favourite part was that there are loads of activities for kids and it’s all free. My cousins who came loved it so I encourage you to do it every year on the 1st of March

Regis East Malvern, VIC

Having read and viewed articles on the conditions in aged care facilities (which I also have experienced), I am compelled to tell of the other side.
After months of visiting many facilities for my husband in which some wouldn’t take him, others did not have a dementia unit or a vacancy, and others I would not consider, I was in despair when Regis at Malvern East was recommended to me. As soon as I walked in I knew this was the one. Although only two years old, It had a special warmth about it
The staff shows they really care, and everything is done with a smile. It is spotlessly clean and has an excellent menu that is prepared on site.
Not only do they care for the residents, but for families as well. I was truly blessed when Regis accepted my husband.

Regis Kirwan,QLD

Firstly, we would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation for all the care and nursing administered to our mother. Our family could not be more thankful and loved how staff develop personal relationships with residents.

Thank you to the carers for vigilantly helping especially at the time of mum’s palliative care right through to her passing. Thanks and God bless you all (as my mumma would say).

Regis Tiwi, NT

Every day as I enter the Regis Tiwi where Jude now lives and as I settle into my now familiar walk up to her room, I feel relief that I know that she is well cared for.
Walking down the corridors and greeting staff, I come to realise that I have developed an admiration for their work. In nearly a month now, I have seen them express kindness, gentleness, professionalism and warmth. When I take Jude for a walk around the complex every staff member who passes says hello to her. They all seem to know her. This is not a nursing home run under a religious banner but it is a place abounding in love.
I also watch the staff anticipating the needs of different people; sitting with them, feeding them, offering them their special treats and interacting with great care. I have seen Assistant Managers leave their desks downstairs and come up to the dining room to assist in the diner routine.
When we placed Jude “In Care” I was sad and frightened. Now I am content that here she gets the best of us and shares in the best others can bring. Life is an eternal blessing

Regis East Malvern, VIC

I just wanted to let you know we had such a lovely dinner in the beautifully styled Dining Room. With so many of Mum’s favourite foods, including pate, cheeses, dumplings with Perrier, Champagne and wines it was a success. Thank you to the staff who assisted making the celebration a success.

Warm Regards,

Regis Tiwi, NT

Thank you to all your staff who did an amazing job of looking after dad which we know wasn’t always easy. In our hearts we know his stay was a happy one. Thank you to the lifestyle ladies, the PCAs who did a good job of cutting his eyebrows (they looked great), nurse Tammy who always made him grin and Sar for all the milkshakes- dad so loved them (but not the green soup).

Re: Sustainability report

I wanted to write to you regarding the 2018 Regis Sustainability Report that I read with great interest.

It is wonderful to see that Regis is embracing an holistic approach to sustainability including not only a focus on the environment, but additionally the community and employees.

Having worked as a psychologist in the aged care sector for many years counselling residents and facilitating mental health training and wellbeing programs for employees, the Sustainability report encapsulates what to date has been missing in the sector. Firstly to my knowledge it is the first sustainability report I have come across by an aged care provider. I also love the focus on sustaining a resident’s and more broadly each facility’s connections to their community -through multiple intergenerational and other initiatives through PIEC & S. Staff retention and well-being in the aged care sector has been a longstanding concern, and it is heartening to read of Regis’s focus on the sustainability of employees through well-being programs, learning and growth pathways and mentors.

In my current role overseeing the SolarBuddy Aged Care program, I am hoping to embrace all three areas of Sustainability , which is why your report resonated so much with me.

Kind regards

Regis Blackburn, VIC

What a lovely surprise I had from Regis on Wednesday. May I thank you and all the staff who care for me.
The jewelry box has been put to use already. I feel the transition from Camberwell to here has been a smooth one and I have settled into my ‘new home’ comfortably. All is well!!!
Regards and again my sincere thanks to Regis

Regis Macleod, VIC

I have been very disappointed to hear the negative publicity for aged care facilities. I do not see any of this when I visit my Mother at Regis Macleod.
I would like to thank Regis Macleod for the care my mother is receiving. Staff members are always friendly, courteous and welcoming. The facility is always clean. I am impressed at the way they regularly report to me about even the slightest issue and are always available to discuss any concerns I may have to help with satisfactory outcomes if necessary.
Mother is always dressed in clean clothes and her room is always clean and tidy. She receives a constant supply of nutritious meals and drinks appropriate for her. The morning and afternoon teas are always healthy and sumptuous and the lunches always smell so appetising.
The Lifestyle team work very hard in their efforts to provide a varied programme around the interests and needs of the residents

Thank you and keep up the good work

Regis Sandgate-Musgrave, QLD

I want to thank you and the staff members involved yesterday for their care and attention of my Uncle.
I was so thankful to be there at that point in time. I was able to see first hand what happens in an emergency and was impressed with the calmness and professionalism from all of you.
I have reiterated these thoughts and I am very impressed with the care of Uncle when his needs were great.Thank you also for being respectful whenever you spoke to me. I appreciated the way you would clarify the situation as it developed.

Very kind regards,

Regis Home Care, TAS

Honestly, you have made such a difference to our lives, I feel really supported and less stressed, and it makes everything I can do so much easier and Mum is far more comfortable. We are eternally grateful!I appreciate your dedication and you’ve made a 93 year old happy & looking forward to the future which is an amazing achievement, be proud you’re brilliant

Regis Playford, SA

Since I have been here, I have put 2 kilos on. I go to the exercise classes. Since my husband has been put on soft diet, I have noticed a difference and he loves his food now especially his sandwich for lunch and a hot meal for tea. Thank you to everyone. The only thing he doesn’t like is Fish.

Regis Rose Bay, NSW

Thank you to all the staff associated with my mother’s care during her sojourn at Regis.

My mother has nothing but praise for the manner in which all members of the staff responded & attended to any of her needs.

She is progressing very well with rehab and hopefully will be home before too long.

Kindest regards,

Regis Tiwi, NT

I know how distressing these sorts of media exposures are to the hardworking and ethical staff who work in the areas targeted.

My father is a resident at Regis, Tiwi Gardens in the NT and I honestly have nothing but praise for everyone who works there. My father is happy and settled, and he receives excellent care both on a physical and psychological level. The staff in that facility are all friendly and caring and they pay attention to individuals. Dad and I both appreciate the multicultural flavour and the fact that most staff seem to have cultural backgrounds where elders are more respected than they are in the west.

Letter to the editor

When my husband’s Alzheimer’s grew unmanageable, Regis homes were the best by far of the 15 sites I visited.

In three years of constant visiting, I have seen no such neglect and abuse at Regis Birkdale. Staff are cheerful, compassionate and patient, often in trying circumstances. Every effort is made to maintain residents’ dignity and to value differing personalities and stages of the disease.

A recent newspaper article stated that Regis pocketed $397M in government subsidies last year. These subsidies are determined by the Government, not by Regis, and are vital. Without them, as pensioners, we would have had no opportunity of accessing care.

As for the ‘seven figure salaries’ of the bosses of such nursing homes, let us look no further than companies that pay even bigger amounts and make huge profits without aiding one person to live with the support they need. Or to the perks of politicians that have no other outcome other than greed and selfishness.

No doubt a royal commission is needed to target the bad guys, but please do not categorise all facilities with sweeping accusations.

Regis Rosebud, VIC

In light of the recent aged care focus, I would like to say Regis Rosebud is very good across the board. Administration were always happy and helpful regarding my wife’s care and any Centrelink problems. The nurses are very caring and work well past their allocated duties. They looked after my late wife very well in her last days- top people: heartfelt thanks to all. The meals were good and the social aspect excellent. The cleaners always gave a smile and a hearty greeting- they were the right people for the job. Finally, the two good chaps in maintenance do an excellent job around Regis. They have even helped me many times with the Shirlanka Gear charity. Thank you all.

Heartfelt thanks to all

Regis Sippy Downs, QLD

To all the amazing staff at Regis, thanks for looking after mum.

We will never forget your kindness towards her. Please reflect on how you have helped make the last 6 years really comfortable for her. We have appreciated everything you’ve done.

From all of Margaret’s family

Regis Salisbury, QLD

The saddest moment is when you know your loved ones need extra care, but happier moments are when you know they are being appropriately cared for, kept clean, safe and offered good food (even if they don’t eat much in my mother’s case) plus offered entertainment and company from both other residents and the staff.

I think a lot does depend on the facility chosen, situations can arise and it is up to residents and their families to have conversations. This is only fair for all parties and I know how easy it is to have conversations with all at Regis Salisbury.

Keep up the good work and I will always defend and recommend Regis Salisbury.

Best wishes,

Regis Port Macquarie, NSW

My wife and I have been close friends of a resident at Regis Port Macquarie since 2013. Sadly the resident passed away on 2nd September. We would like you to know that all the staff treated her with dignity and respect. Their tireless dedication has been without exception as we have witnessed on our weekly visits to see her.

My wife remained at her bedside for two full days prior to her passing and again she was given helpful support and shown kindness during this time which was a stressful one for my wife. Our grateful thanks to all concerned.

Yours sincerely

Regis Ferny Grove, QLD

Our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Regis Ferny Grove. Their care for our friend came at a difficult time, and was greatly appreciated.

She felt immediately at home there, and was made welcome from Day One. Our questions were answered quickly and any concerns dealt with reasonably. She felt like she was staying in a nice hotel; outside, the grounds and wildlife kept her entertained.

We would recommend Regis Ferny Grove to others.

Adam & Jo

Regis Redlynch, QLD

Just wanted to express my heartfelt thanks to all at Regis. I moved my mum last September to Regis because I wanted her treated with dignity and respect and a better standard of care than what she was getting. My wish came true as Mum was introduced to her new family which was your staff.

The professionalism of your staff- and I mean ALL staff- that I was involved with was amazing, the kindness that was shared to me and my family the laughs and tears with all the stories good and bad and the cups of tea was so appreciated. I could not have asked for better care and love- so thank you.

Regis Bulimba, QLD

Thank you for looking after our father for the last two and a half years. He claimed that his Doctor said he only had 6 months to live when he first arrived- I’m sure the dedicated team contributed to extending his stay. Thank you to the meal staff who knew the kind of food and drink dad liked; to the laundry staff who would find lost garments and same day delivery ; staff who would set up the reading machine; the maintenance men who always came up with a solution to something that had broken for him; and the carers who were there when he needed them within minutes- saving him more pain than he suffered.

Thank you all who listened to the endless range of jokes that dad had filed away for every occasion. Thanks for laughing even if you didn’t always get it.

Karyn and family

Regis Port Stephens, NSW

It gives me absolute pleasure to express my sincere gratitude for the never-ending assistance the Regis team has offered our whole family in locating our mother in the facility. ALL staff contribute to a nurturing, positive, compassionate family environment. The food is excellent and plentiful.

Nothing is ever too much trouble!

Regis Dandenong North, VIC

(Espirt Cafe Support Group Attendee)

This group is very helpful. It provides an escape from the stresses of the daily dealing with my mother’s sickness. Discussing daily challenges with others who have been through similar circumstances helps a lot.

Regis Cranbourne, VIC

I am writing to thank you for the wonderful attention and loving service given to my wife. I have nothing but praise and grateful thanks towards all staff.

If she could speak now she would heap praise and give her thanks to those who cared for her and supported myself and my daughter.

I would unreservedly recommend Regis for quality and loving care for those that need the services provided.

Regis Yeronga, QLD

My sister recently entered the facility which is very good in my and my wife’s opinion. We’ve had a look at other facilities and some of them I can’t see how some people can put their loved ones in those facilities. We are happy with the care, the food, the activities and definitely the people at Regis.

Regis Kuluin, QLD

My dad’s 18 months at Regis was a positive experience in all respects and we couldn’t have asked for better care. The staff were loving, attentive and respectful. Thanks again for your help.

Regis Wynnum, QLD

We would like to thank you all not only for your excellent care of our mother, but also for making her feel so special on her recent birthday. Your care and attention has helped to make her feel comfortable in her new surroundings after being independent for so long.

Mum often comments that everyone is so lovely and friendly and she never hears a cross word or raised voice. We are so grateful for your cheerful assistance and care- you have all been so helpful and we appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Dell, Maureen, Sue and Nancy (Daughters)

Regis Wynnum, QLD

I want to tell you how impressed I was by the Wynnum Family Day last week. I enjoyed all aspects of the day but was most impressed by the off duty staff who attended and offered assistance to any resident to ensure they could enjoy the day.

How lucky is Regis to have the calibre of staff you have at Wynnum.

Thank you.

Regis Armadale, VIC

Just a short note to commend your passionate caring staff (again), for organising and putting on a medieval concert on Sunday for the residents. For staff to come in on a Sunday without expecting payment, is a testament to their care and dedication. As a medical professional I frequently visit various aged care facilities and I know that it is rare for staff to be doing similar things on a weekend elsewhere.

Your staff who willingly give up their time, I am sure have the unfailing gratitude of the residents and their families and I am once again so glad my mother is in your care.

Regis East Malvern, VIC

First of all, we would like to wish Regis East Malvern a very Happy 1st Birthday and many happy returns. Mum was so full of joy, and lively in her description of the celebrations and with animation said “there will never be another one like it!” Several weeks later she is still talking about the Birthday celebrations – it clearly made a profound impression and associated with terrific positive emotions, and memories have been made.

We’d like to thank each and every staff member for this day and everyday for helping to give our Mum happy, meaningful days and experiences at this time in her life. We ALL could not be happier with Mum’s move to Regis East Malvern.

Just on a side note we would like to congratulate all the staff for their friendliness, their readiness to smile and their enthusiasm – I think this has been such a key factor in how quickly Mum has settled in, feeling safe, cared for and respected and just plain ‘happy’.

Sandy & Doug

Regis East Malvern, VIC

Dear Club Services Manager,

Thank you from all of us for making tonight such a pleasure. The room is tastefully decorated and well presented. The food is tasty and appropriate, the wine just right.

The option of private dining is a feature of the Regis experience we value highly and while we wouldn’t always expect your personal attention, it was very much appreciated tonight.

Resident & Family

Regis Salisbury, QLD

I often feel that we all too often are very quick to report dissatisfaction but rarely advise great experiences. There are few words that can truly express our extreme gratitude to all the Anchorage staff at every level for the kind, inclusive, professional and efficient care provided to my mother.

Mum has made friends, gotten involved in the activities and embraced this experience in part due to her own positive and determined attitude but more to the kindness and sense of home and family the facility has provided- not just towards mum, but our whole family.

Thank you Regis for welcoming and caring so well for my mum and our whole family.

Regis Wynnum, QLD

I wanted to pass a compliment to the staff of Regis. Today I visited my uncle and aunt who reside at Regis. I was very impressed with the lovely modern facilities and the spacious comfort.

I had not seen them for 12 months and found my uncle and aunt looked settled, healthier and happier since I last saw them. It is obvious that they are very well cared for, and treated with kindness and respect from all the friendly and caring staff.

Regis Birkdale, QLD

Our families would like to thank you for making our mother’s recent respite stay so pleasant.

From the moment Mum arrived she was made to feel very welcome and special. The level of care and concern for all was a pleasure to watch and a joy for our mother to experience. We had no sooner taken mum home, than she started singing the praises of everyone at Regis as well as how tasty the food was and how often she was fed!

Thank you for welcoming our family and friends who visited and took mum out. The process was easy and without drama. Some were even able to join Mum for lunch or a cuppa and cake.

Initially our mother was slow to join in with many activities but when she did she certainly enjoyed them. Being able to have her hair washed and set and have her nails done just added to Mum’s pleasure.

We would be happy to recommend Regis to anyone. Thank you for taking such good care of our mother – we shall be seeing you again in the not so distant future.

Ricki and Scott

Regis Rose Bay, NSW

In remembrance of our father, I wanted to compliment your wonderful staff who were so supportive of our family especially the night staff on Holy Thursday and Good Friday, and the staff member who was rostered on Easter Saturday. Their excellent and compassionate service made an awful time bearable.

With our thanks

Regis The Gap, QLD

The challenging decision to decide which facility we would place Dad into became an easy one after the family visited numerous aged care centres. Regis The Gap exuded a happy and cheerful atmosphere that made us comfortable dad would be moving into a positive and respectful environment. In turn, this environment was backed up by a wonderful team of dedicated staff who attended to and assisted dad in any way they could. Everyone at Regis genuinely cared about him and how they could play their part in making his situation as comfortable as possible. If there were any concerns regarding his health or condition, I would receive a phone call immediately to update me as to what was happening and how his health concerns were being addressed. Everyone in the family drew comfort knowing dad was well cared for. Thank you for all your support.

Please accept our gratitude to those who took the time to get to know and love our dad over his 5 years at Regis.

As a family, we know we were all over you! Our father was such a precious commodity to us that there really was no other way we could be. Thank you for accommodating ours and our Mother’s requests during the years.

What a beautiful day you created for mum’s 100th Birthday. Mum enjoyed sharing her day with you and the residents. The cake was very special, the flowers were beautiful and the band played all her favourite songs- She was overwhelmed by all the attention.

The Lifestyle Coordinator made the day so special for mum through all her thoughtful work and outstanding effort.

On behalf of mum and the family we thank you for your care, support and consideration over the past 5 years. We really appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedules to celebrate a momentous occasion.

My mother recently become a resident at Regis and has settled in better than expected.

This is due in part from the help and assistance of Facility Manager. The facility Manager addressed every concern, followed up any matters arising, and kept me informed.

I find the Facility Manager to be very approachable and caring & she is definitely an asset to Regis. I work in the aged care sector and I know that people like you are not easy to find.

Recently my father had the opportunity to use the respite facilities at Regis. Right from the first impressions we were impressed with the level of care and commitment. I particularly want to express gratitude for all the help and follow up phone call after Dad had left, which was the nicest thing to happen for a long time.

It was a trying time for us with Mum in hospital and the family in NSW. The whole situation was fraught with emotion, tension and fear of the unknown. Everybody at Regis certainly made that a great deal less so.

We have only good things to say about Regis and would certainly recommend this establishment without reservation.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Regis for the care, consideration, support and compassion shown to my late mother in her time of three years at Regis.

I am grateful for all the support and professionalism shown to me over this time including financial matters.

Your organisation certainly does care for the individual and their family with what you offer residents. I am very happy my mother had her last years in a wonderful organisation. I know she was very content and was well cared far. I will always be grateful to Regis for this.

Kind regards
