Last week, residents and employees at Regis Legana celebrated the Hindu festival of Dashain with a vibrant event in the Home. Dashain is one of Nepal’s most significant festivals and symbolises the victory of good over evil.
The day featured a traditional Nepalese lunch prepared by their talented chef, which was enjoyed by everyone. Many employees dressed in cultural attire and brought their children along, creating a colourful and festive atmosphere. Residents joined in the celebration with music and dancing, and blessings were shared using red rice and fresh green grass to bring good luck.
The event was a meaningful occasion for employees and residents alike. It offered an opportunity to share traditions, learn about culture and come together as a community.
