What is Home Care?
Regis Home Care helps older Australians stay independent, safe and comfortable in their own homes. Through the Australian Government's Support at Home program and Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), we provide personalised support including nursing, personal care, domestic assistance, transport and allied health services.
With more than 30 years' experience in aged care services, we're here to help you live confidently at home for longer.
Where is Regis Home Care available?
Home Care services are available in South East Queensland, Cairns, Townsville, Melbourne, Mildura, Tasmania and Darwin. Allied health services are available through our Day Therapy Centres in Cairns, Townsville, Melbourne, Darwin and Perth.
Who is Home Care for?
You may benefit from Home Care if you:
You may be eligible for government-funded support through either the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) or the Support at
Home program, if you're aged 65 or over (or 50+ for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people).

HOW HOME CARE WORKS
Accessing government-funded Home Care can be broken down into three simple steps:

Check your eligibility
Contact My Aged Care to arrange a free assessment and determine the support you're eligible to receive.

Choose Regis
Once you've received your assessment notice, choose Regis as your Support at Home provider. Our team will guide you through the setup process.

Create your personalised care plan
We'll match you with a dedicated Care Partner who will work with you to create a support plan, coordinate your services and help you make the most of your approved funding.

Services available
Depending on what you've been approved for by My Aged Care, your plan will include services from three categories. Your Care Partner will work with you to choose the right mix, so you stay safe, independent and connected.
Independence Supports
Helping you keep your routines and stay engaged with people and places that matter to you.
Including:
- Personal care: showering, grooming, dressing, mobility and transfers, prompting with medicines.
- Companionship: home visits, conversation, community activities that match your interests.
- Overnight sleepover: reassurance and support if you need help during the night.
- Transport: trips to the shops, medical appointments, community or social outings.
- In-home respite: short-term breaks that support the people who care for you.
Everyday Living Supports
Support to make everyday tasks easier so your home stays safe and comfortable.
Including:
- Help around your home: cleaning, laundry, ironing, vacuuming.
- Shopping: support to plan, shop and put things away.
- Cooking and meal preparation: plan, prepare and cook meals you enjoy.
- Home maintenance: simple fixes and safety tasks around the home.
- Gardening: light gardening to keep outdoor areas safe and tidy.
Clinical Supports
Help you manage your health at home, so you feel well and in control.
Including:
- Nursing care: clinical assessments, wound care, medication management, continence support, chronic condition monitoring.
- Allied health: physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, speech pathology, dietetics.
- Short-term supports: restorative care to help you regain function after a setback.
DAY THERAPY CENTRES
Allied health and therapy services
In addition to Home Care services, Regis operates Day Therapy Centres offering a range of restorative and wellbeing services designed to help you maintain strength, mobility and independence.
Services include:
- Exercise programs, including group classes.
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational therapy
- Podiatry
- Rehabilitative care
Fees and contributions
The amount you will need to contribute will depend on:
- The program you're eligible for (CHSP or Support at Home)
- The type of care and support you receive
- Your financial situation (as assessed by Services Australia)
