As a Clinical Care Manager, Lydia maintains a proactive and hands-on approach. She ensures residents always have exactly what they need to stay comfortable and independent.
As a passionate advocate for residents living with dementia, Lydia applies her knowledge to create personalised care strategies. She works with Dementia Support Australia to tailor plans and shares these insights with her team. In doing so, she creates a culture of empathy, patience and consistency. Her leadership has strengthened team confidence and improved quality of life for residents living with dementia. Lydia also helps run meaningful activities that keep residents connected and engaged.
Lydia is dedicated to continuous learning. She regularly attends conferences, workshops and training sessions. She applies new knowledge to improve care, mentor others and create guidelines that improve safety in the Home. By educating herself, Lydia empowers her team to grow professionally and continue to deliver exceptional care.
Both families and Lydia’s team value her calm confidence, communication and compassion. She leads by example, whether it’s mentoring, responding quickly in emergencies or providing support to residents.
