Eileen cares for her husband around the clock and recently decided to get some extra support for his 24/7 care needs. Regis’ Care Manager was able to arrange support for housekeeping and other domestic tasks as well as doctor’s appointments when needed (information regarding available in-home services are here).
As Eileen’s loved one is experiencing a time of behaviour change, the emotional and physical support from Regis’ home and community support staff is vital to caring for her husband. At times a reassuring chat over a cup of tea is enough to keep her going.
