The Federal Member for Fremantle Mr Josh Wilson visited the groundwork of the new aged care facility Regis Port Coogee on Tuesday 21 February at 10.00am.

The $50 million development at 72 Pantheon Avenue, North Coogee will see a new 5 level, 123 bed state of the art aged care facility.

Features include apartment style rooms, single en suite rooms, and communal facilities such as a private dining room, café, day spa, hair salon, cinema room and library.

The building will be serviced to support Regis’ renowned quality delivery.

“I’m very glad to see this impressively designed Regis construction project under way. It will add to WA’s stock of aged care housing and support jobs in construction and health services”, Hon Mr Wilson Federal Member for Fremantle.

The new facility will offer a mix of ageing in place (high and low care), dementia and respite care and will employ over 100 local healthcare professionals.

We are excited by the official commencement of the project which will provide a great living environment for our care recipients.

The development of this facility and the investment in new aged care beds highlights Regis’ commitment to building outstanding person focused aged care facilities not only here in Perth but across the country.

The facility is owned and operated by Regis Aged Care, one of the largest private aged care operators in Australia, and is the one of a number of redevelopments underway by the group.
Regis Port Coogee is scheduled to open mid 2018.
