Justine Hick possesses many of the qualities that make a great leader. Throughout the COVID-19 outbreaks, Justine was instrumental in ensuring that residents were thinking positively and keeping their spirits high. Despite facing challenges, Justine’s positive energy made Regis Hornsby a happy and healthy working environment for employees who consider Justine the backbone of the Home.
Being a great leader also means being approachable and solving difficult problems, qualities that Justine has in spades. When an employee wants to discuss something, she is always available on the phone or in person. Justine’s calm and reassuring manner is also fantastic with families and residents as she offers clear and direct communication, putting them at ease and ensuring they’re in good hands.
Employees and residents alike can’t help but share their enthusiasm about Justine. Employees say, “I wouldn’t want to work for anyone else”, while family members say, “I am so glad she is looking after my loved one.”
