Regis Birkdale held a French-themed celebration in honour of Bastille Day. Our residents and employees came together to immerse themselves in the rich culture and joie de vivre of France.

The morning kicked off with a cooking class, where everyone had the chance to showcase their culinary skills by preparing delicious French delicacies. As the aromas of French cuisine filled the air, French music played in the background, adding to the ambience.

Residents and employees wore their best finest French costumes, adding a touch of authenticity to the event and to keep the festive spirit alive, there was a singalong to more French tunes.

In the afternoon, our Dementia Specific Unit residents indulged in a French-inspired art therapy session — one of the most highly anticipated events on our Lifestyle Calendar. It was a great opportunity for our residents to express themselves creatively while embracing the beauty and elegance of French art.
