Residents from Regis Camberwell recently enjoyed an interhome outing, joining friends from Regis Torquay and Regis Drysdale for a memorable day at the Fyansford Hotel in Geelong. The outing marked a wonderful opportunity for residents from different homes to connect and create new memories together.
In total, 20 residents and employees took part in the day, enjoying a delicious lunch, refreshing cool drinks in the warm weather and of course, a dessert to finish. The relaxed atmosphere was the perfect backdrop for plenty of conversation and laughter.
For some, the visit sparked fond memories. Resident Judith shared, “I remember being here probably 20 years back, and it’s so good to be back again and cherish those memories.”
Resident Jean also praised the venue, “The food is spectacular, and what an amazing day out at such a beautiful place.”
Resident Betty summed up the day perfectly, saying, “What a great day out with the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends.”
Regis Camberwell’s Lifestyle Coordinator Komal Sandhu echoed these sentiments when she said it was “a truly memorable outing filled with connection and reminiscence.”
