A sense of community is an integral factor when establishing a home. Regis Greenmount takes pride in their affiliation with their local community, which was highlighted during their Christmas festivities late last year with the magical sounds of the Scottish Highlands gracing their ears. The local Western Australia Police Pipe Band held a special Christmas tribute for the employees, residents, and family members at Regis Greenmount, performing traditional festive classics, as well as numerous requests from the residents.

Formed in 1966, the WA Police Force Pipe Band proudly serves all of Western Australia. They are held in the highest regard for their ability to perform ceremonial duties and deliver outstanding traditional and contemporary musical performances for the whole community. The band provides excellent community engagement, showcasing a different side of policing to the community by using the power of music.

The concert was cherished by the older members of the community, sincerely appreciating the kindness from the band members for coming to spread the Christmas cheer and adding joy to their day at Regis Greenmount.

“We were delighted to welcome the WA Police Pipe Band to our Home in Greenmount and were very grateful for a wonderful concert for our residents who enjoyed it immensely,” Richard Horne, General Manager at Regis Greenmount, shared.

Regis Greenmount resident, Nicolas Stuurstraat, expressed it was “an incredible concert, we were so lucky for this beautiful Christmas treat, I am looking forward to their next concert.”

The band promised residents who were desperate for more that they will be “back again” soon to entertain and engage with them once more.
