Regis was founded over 30 years ago and offers a diverse range of care options including home care, residential aged care, retirement living, day therapy and day respite. Regis is one of the largest providers of aged care in Australia with more than 13,000 employees and provides care and services to over 10,000 residents and clients each year.

Integration is the name given to the period commencing from completion of the acquisition, where there may be some changes to systems and processes as we move to align and integrate the Royal Freemasons business into our day-to-day operations. This will not disrupt the care and services provided to you and is an opportunity for both organisations to learn more about one another.

As part of its acquisition of the Royal Freemasons Home Care business, Regis will assume the obligations owed by Royal Freemasons Home Care to its clients, including those obligations Royal Freemasons owes under its existing client and service agreements.

Regis will agree to a transfer of your current service terms. There is no requirement for you to sign a new service agreement as a result of Regis’ acquisition of the Royal Freemasons Home Care business.

The terms of your current Agreement will remain the same. There is no requirement for you (or a representative acting on your behalf) to sign a new Agreement.

Regis will provide you with written confirmation of its acquisition of the Freemasons Home Care business once the acquistion has been completed.

Regis will also provide you with further information regarding your rights and responsibilities following the acquisition, including information relating to matters such as the provision and payment for services and the transfer of your contract to Regis.

Acquiring Royal Freemasons Home Care Services fits within Regis’ goals to address the increasing demands of an ageing population and shift in consumer preferences to age in place.

Both organisations are well regarded in Victoria and our values are closely aligned, which provides a foundation for continued growth.

Maintaining continuity of care is paramount and we anticipate existing care arrangements for Royal Freemasons clients will not be disrupted.

Yes, you are entitled to change your service provider. Should you wish to change, please refer to your client agreement, which will set out your rights and obligations. Your Case Manager/Care Partner will be available to ensure a smooth transition during and after integration.

If you require help or you know someone else who needs help to translate this information, your Case Manager/Care Partner will be able to arrange access to the Translating and Interpreting Services (TIS National).
