Think Food. Think Local. Think Regis.

At Regis, we see our homes as being the beating heart of their local community. Our commitment to the community goes beyond providing the best care to residents from the local area. We want to give back to local businesses and ensure we support those in our surrounding neighbourhoods. Now more than ever, we are looking at additional ways we can help our communities.

At Regis, we take pride in our wholesome and nutritious meals, going above and beyond to provide our residents with the very best in seasonal produce. As part of our community commitment, our project has led to Regis engaging with more local producers across Australia to help supply our homes with fresh produce. This is helping to provide fresh and nutritious food to our residents and reduce our carbon footprint. We believe in supporting the local community in any way we can, and we are proud to be partnered with passionate suppliers all across Australia.

Ken Little has been in the fruit and veg game for over 40 years and we’re proud to partner with him and his team in Port Macquarie, NSW. We know that all the produce delivered to our local home will be of the best quality and taste for our residents. Ken knows his apples from his oranges, and is eager to help us choose the best fruit and veg for our home. We value our special relationship with local businesses and, now more than ever, are looking at additional ways we can help our communities.

Express Fresh started from humble beginnings working in the Fremantle Markets during the 80’s – owners Sam and Charlie Anile know a thing about fresh produce which is just one of the reasons why Regis is proud of our partnership. Their immersion in market culture from an early age now means that they know exactly what our catering team need to create fresh meals for our residents.

Our suppliers take an interest in where their produce goes and are a critical component in our continually improving processes. Cheffields, one of Gippsland’s finest producers of meat, milk and cheese, regularly visit a number of our homes to better understand what our residents want and what quality means to them. We value our special relationship with local businesses and, now more than ever, are looking at additional ways we can help our communities.

Supporting businesses that are environmentally friendly is also a critical element when we choose our supplies and is just another reason why we’ve partnered with In2food to provide our fruit and vegetables in Victoria and Cairns. In addition to their local knowledge and excellent selection of fresh produce, we admire their dedication to sustainability and waste reduction – helping us on our journey to create a more sustainable future.
