Regis Frankston offers a variety of lifestyle activities daily, providing each resident with opportunities for joy and connection.

Suzie has been at Regis Frankston for over two years and is happy to call it home. Initially apprehensive about moving, she found a new love for life after forming connections and participating in activities such as meditation, live music, and reading, averaging two books per week.

“I love it here. Everyone was so kind and helpful when I first moved in, and I can’t thank them enough,” she said.

One of her favorite parts about Regis Frankston is the open spaces and garden. She is often found sitting in one of the garden areas in the sunshine, listening to the birds.

Suzie appreciates all the little things the employees do, saying that what seems like a small gesture brings a great deal of gratitude from the residents.

“The employees are great. I couldn’t speak more highly of them. There’s so much they do for you. They’re always popping their head in to see if I need anything. It’s like they’re your friends.”

Suzie and Millie at Regis Frankston

A key highlight for Suzie and many of the Regis Frankston residents are the fortnightly visits from Millie the dog.

The seven-year-old Maltese has been coming to the Home with her owner for almost a year and brings great joy to the residents.

“One of the best parts is we get to see animals like Millie. It’s good fun.”

“We just love Millie. She brings so much joy to us residents. It’s the pet you have when you can’t have your own.”

Pet therapy is just one of the many lifestyle activities offered at Regis Frankston that give residents a sense of joy and connection.
