About the role

The Maintenance Officer plays a key role in ensuring the facility and its grounds are safe, functional, and well-presented. Responsibilities include:

  • General repairs and maintenance of plant, equipment and buildings
  • Overseeing the tidy, well-kept gardens and grounds
  • Identifying and completing preventative maintenance tasks
  • Managing chemical use safely and maintaining accurate records
  • Ensuring all work complies with legal and safety standards

What we’re looking for

  • Hands-on experience in general maintenance or handyman work
  • Ability to manage and coordinate maintenance schedules
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Drivers License
