Aged Care in Adelaide

Regis Aged Care residences in Adelaide offer high-quality care with personalised care options. We understand the importance of aged care and what it means to our residents; which is why we continually invest in our Homes and employees. While many of our lives have changed over the past few years, at Regis, our top priority has remained the same. The safety and wellbeing of our residents, employees, and visitors is paramount.

We’ve implemented numerous systems and programs to ensure that our residents can safely continue doing the things they love, and that their loved ones can be present throughout. Our residents and families have felt safe, supported, and continually engaged in their favourite pastimes.

While it’s essential for us to highlight the many things that we’ve done to make it a safe and enjoyable time, it’s equally crucial for us to hear the feedback from those that matter most. Our residents and families. We’re excited to share some wonderful testimonials that we’ve received. These detail experiences with Regis during the COVID-19 pandemic by those both inside and outside the Home.

At Regis, care is at the centre of what we do.

Safe and Supported

Providing current updates on what is happening at the Home was vital to giving families peace of mind that their loved ones were safe and supported. For Trevor Ireland, receiving updates on his father’s wellbeing was a necessity.

“Since Dad moved into Regis Burnside four months ago, I’ve been continually impressed by the levels of care and communication shown by all levels of employees and management. I’ve been particularly happy with the maximum practicable level of independence afforded to residents. We appreciated regular, clear communication of the current situation to families. Brilliant.”

Partners in Care

We understand how important it is to stay connected with loved ones. For Robyne Marr, visiting her husband, John was imperative to his wellbeing. Our Partners in Care program ensures that families and friends can still visit the Home, even in times of outbreak.

“I was very grateful for the opportunity to visit, comfort, and reassure my husband, John during the COVID-19 outbreak at Regis Kingswood. I think it definitely helped with his wellbeing. Overall, it was a difficult time that was handled very well by everyone concerned.”

Staying Connected

Our residents also loved grasping new technologies, and FaceTime calls have been a crucial way to catch up with their loved ones when it wasn’t safe to visit. For Rachel Bradley, this was a fantastic way to connect with her mother and ensure both were kept safe.

“The employees did a tremendous job providing my mother with support and companionship. Being able to visit or video call was comforting for me and I am immensely grateful.”
