COVID-19 restrictions to visiting Regis Homes in South Australia

Dear Families,

As the South Australian Government COVID-19 Directions have changed I am writing to let you know how you can visit your loved one in our Regis Homes across Adelaide. You can read the new Government Directions here.

We are delighted to welcome visitors back into our Homes for care and support visits (up to two people at a time, once per day unless agreed otherwise with your loved one’s Home). To support our Homes to complete the necessary health screening and sign in processes, we ask that you call the Home in advance to book a time.

For added infection prevention and control, we request that visitors wear a mask for the duration of their visit. We strongly believe that this is the best way to keep those in our care safe.

Please also do not visit if:

  • You, or anyone in your household, are unwell;
  • You, or anyone in your household, have been told to self-isolate or self-quarantine (including because you are close contacts or are waiting on the results from a COVID-19 test);
  • You have not been vaccinated against the 2020 seasonal influenza (unless you have been granted an exemption); or
  • You have recently arrived in South Australia from Victoria.

For those unable to visit in person, we will continue to offer FaceTime, Windows of Connection and phone calls for families to connect with their loved ones.

We continue to monitor the situation in South Australia and will update you if any changes are required. We are all pleased that the strict lockdown in South Australia was for a short period of time only.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call your Home’s General Manager or our dedicated advice team on 1300 998 100.

Best wishes,

Linda Mellors
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer
