Today we celebrate ten years of dedication, growth and service from Thomas Anderson.
Thomas began his journey with Regis in December 2015 as a registered nurse. From the beginning, he was driven by a passion for leadership and a desire to make a meaningful difference in aged care. Regis became the place where he could grow, learn and build a career that aligned with his values.
Over the years, Thomas has held a wide range of roles across Victoria and interstate. He has supported communities as a clinical manager, assistant manager and general manager. His experience deepened even further during the Covid pandemic, when he worked as a contact tracer with the Regis task force. It was a difficult time for aged care across Australia and Thomas played an important role in keeping residents safe and supported.
More recently, Thomas stepped into the mobilisation support lead role for the Aged Care Act. He led the operational set up for Regis Camberwell, working with teams across the organisation to prepare the home for its first residents. He helped recruit the team, arrange equipment and furniture and ensure the home opened as a safe, welcoming and exceptional place to live.
Thomas brings clinical insight, operational experience and a collaborative approach to every project he leads. His focus remains on resident experience and doing the right thing for the right reasons.
Today we thank Thomas for ten years of commitment, leadership and care. His contribution has shaped homes, teams and resident experiences across Regis, and we are proud to celebrate this milestone with him.
