We welcome the Australian Government’s aged care reform package and their support for the key recommendations made in the Final Report of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety.
This is a significant investment for the aged care sector and will continue to ensure older Australians receive the high-quality care they deserve. This package will also enable providers in the sector to deliver greater standards of specialist services, as well as more consumer choice to meet the needs of our ageing society.
These commitments are in line with Regis’ own to be at the forefront of the aged care sector reform, and provide a high standard of care and assurance for the safety of our residents and clients, as well as robust support for our passionate and dedicated employees.
Regis looks forward to further engaging with the Australian Government on advancing aged care reform and working alongside consumers and industry stakeholders to improve the sector, and continue to support our residents, clients, families, and employees.
