Residents of our Bramble Bay Retirement Village in the Brisbane bayside suburb of Sandgate have been enjoying art classes with local artist Kim Mancini going on three years. The group of eight to ten residents meet each Tuesday in the village Clubhouse exploring using different paints, including oil and water-based, different brush techniques, along with drawing and other art skills. Many pieces have been displayed at local community fairs and facilities, including the Town Hall.

The group is currently working with our Village Manager to develop a gallery wall leading from Regis Sandgate’s café to the village’s Clubhouse. “The gallery wall will be a great place for the group to display their work, inviting the local community and other residents and families of Regis Sandgate to view and appreciate their wonderful work” said Nadine Lister, Village Manager.
