Hidden Treasures
Sometimes a little compliment can unearth hidden treasures and beautiful memories from our youth. It was just last week that our team at Regis Sandgate Musgrave were admiring Gloria’s new haircut and colour when the conversation moved to her memories of her curls and cuts from her youth. In fact, Gloria had kept a few of her childhood curls that had been preserved in an old lolly tin that her granny gave her when she was just 13 years old – 73 years ago! Amongst the treasure was also an old pencil sharpener from her youth that has been cherished for all these years. It’s little moments like these that are so special to our residents and staff.
