The residents of Regis Port Stephens experienced an extraordinary day out at Fighter World thanks to the initiative of their Lifestyle Coordinator Megan. Inspired by her husband, a former Air Force member, Megan organised the trip in order to create memorable experiences for all the aviation enthusiasts among the residents. This included ex-pilot John Winslow and retired Air Force member Reynold Perry.

With more than 17 aircraft on display, our Port Stephens residents were treated to an up-close and personal experience with some of the most iconic planes in Australian military history.

The group immersed themselves in hours of exploration, marvelling at the impressive planes and delving into their rich history.

Our team wanted to make the day that extra bit special and arranged for John to take a seat in the cockpit of a Mirage fighter jet and try his hand at the simulator. As an ex-pilot, John was a natural!

Our Port Stephens residents are still reminiscing about the day and are eager to get back out into the community on their next outing.
