At Regis Chelmer, flower arranging is a much-loved activity that brings residents together through creativity and conversation. A recent donation of fresh flowers from a generous community member made the experience even more special.

Residents spent time selecting blooms, arranging them into unique designs and chatting with one another as they worked. The room was filled with the scent of fresh flowers and the sound of laughter, with each person creating something personal to display or gift.

Flower arranging encourages fine motor movement, supports sensory engagement and gives residents a chance to express themselves through colour and design. The process of choosing, handling and arranging flowers can be calming and rewarding, often leading to conversation and shared memories.

Regis Chelmer gives a heartfelt thank you to the community member who donated the flowers. Their kindness added something extra to the day and was appreciated by all.
