Pat and Joyce are good friends living at Regis Rosebud and can almost always be found right in the thick of the Home’s lifestyle activities. They cheer each other on at bingo, always maintaining a healthy level of friendly competition.

The pair also love having a laugh while playing table bowls, a modified version of bowls played on a pool table to make it more accessible. These two are always on the go and up for trying something new!

When they’re not busy with activities, Pat and Joyce are rarely seen without their knitting needles in hand. Bonding over a shared love of all things wool, the pair even started their own knitting club, Knit and Natter. The group brings residents together in one of the Home’s sunny communal spaces, where they knit beautiful creations, swap tips, share stories and enjoy a good chat.

Pat’s growing collection includes adorable knitted ducks, bears and other charming characters, all lovingly handmade. Many are gifted to family and friends, while others proudly decorate her room at Regis Rosebud.

Together, Pat and Joyce’s friendship is a wonderful example of the connection, laughter and creativity at Regis Rosebud.
