Residents from Regis Lutwyche and Regis The Gap have been meeting monthly as part of a new inter-home social program supported by Regis Lifestyle teams.

What began as a small Ladies’ Conversation Group has grown into a regular morning tea between the two homes, giving residents the chance to connect with new people, share stories, and build lasting friendships in a welcoming setting.

The visits are relaxed and social, with each home taking turns to host. Residents enjoy light refreshments and guided conversation, often discovering shared interests and life experiences. Some have exchanged phone numbers and continued their chats between visits, Dawn from Regis Lutwyche shared “Its been lovely making a connection with Annette from Regis The Gap, I rang Annette for her birthday and she was so thrilled to hear from me”.

Programs like this are part of Regis’ commitment to community and supporting connection in meaningful ways. By creating opportunities to engage beyond their immediate environment, residents benefit from social variety, emotional connection and a strong sense of belonging.
